Last night the white sox came in for us and pushed our banishemnt record to a recorded 16-5 (+$5550 worth of profit).. Tonights play is the Seattle Mariners(-1.20) laying $600 to win $500.. The Mariners hold a 5-4 season series advantage, they post a 19-5 road record in their last 24 games, Pinero 8-5 (3.67) vs. Lilly 5-8 (4.83).. Lifetime Pinero is 3-1 (3,26) against the A's, whereas Lilly is 0-3 (6.41) against the Mariners. also Brett Bodine is hitting .411 lifetime against Lilly.. and quite frankly without Hudson, Mulder or Zito on the hill this is a great line,, Seattle also simply the better team in this one.. If the Mariners do not win, then i wont post until friday night's games.. We really believe the Mariners get the money in this one tonight and ive got $600 on the line that says they do.. see everyone later or friday evening..

Let me tell you guys why i have this game rated a #8 in my rating system, #10 is highest by the way and last nights game was a #9 (wsox).. Seattle: better team (record wise), better head to head (this is important), best road team in majors (19-5 last 24 on the road), Pound Lilly (this is in pitchers matchup vs. opponent), also hit lefties (another component of pitching matchup).. all small parts of what goes into making a decision on a "game of the day" if you will.. If seattle hadnt been burnt by rondell white twice in the last 2 weeks, this line would have been higher than -1.25.. What does oakland have going for it, one thing, they are the best home team in majors (29-12), they have slightly the hotter team at the moment but not the better team and they are not smoking by any means,, ------- compare this with CWS vs. Minn today,,, Minn has the better record and arguably the better pitcher today, however the wsox have the home edge, they have the MOJO working right now (i mean their karma is good), but for me this is classic toss-up in this one. 2 other games that i considered heavily tonight were the Giants, --- reason being better team, better pitcher going. they are slight dog, i may lay a $100 on them but its totally off the record, this game scored a 6.5 for me, which is good enough for a play,, another one that could come in -- padres, worse team but they are a nice dog, with a better pitcher going and have some good MOJO (karma) going,,,,,,,,, guys if you dont look at the mojo then your missing something,,,,,,,, how could you take the blue jays tonight and lay 3-1 " their mojo is so bad right now", its a no-play though because of halladay.. the dodgers mojo is terrible, how could anyone play them,, sd is rolling with kotsay heating up as well..... other hot teams with good mojo, phillies, wsox, marlins, giants, ------ bad mojo's braves, blue jays, cubs, cards, ---- that was totally off the top of my head,,, sorry for rambling,, good luck on your choices tonight..
